Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng Gave a Joint Interview at the Press Center of the Chinese Delegation to the G20 St. Petersburg Summit

On 5 September 2013, Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng gave a joint interview at the Press Center of the Chinese Delegation to the G20 St. Petersburg Summit to journalists from Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, and Phoenix Satellite TV. He answered questions on fighting trade protectionism, regional FTA arrangements, global value chain and other issues.

Gao Hucheng said that China has maintained steady and sound economic growth and played a positive role within the G20 framework. We are fully confident of achieving the foreign trade development goals for the year. China opposes all forms of trade and investment protectionism and China believes that countries should solve trade frictions through cooperation, dialogue and consultation.
