Vice Chinese Finance Minister Zhu Guangyao Gave a Joint Interview to Chinese and Foreign Media at the Press Center of the Chinese Delegation

On 3 September,Vice Chinese Finance Minister Zhu Guangyao gave a joint interview to the People's Daily, the Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, Phoenix Satellite TV and Russia Today TV at the Press Center of the Chinese delegation for the G20 St. Petersburg Summit.

Zhu Guangyao said that the world economy faced three challenges, namely the US Federal Reserve's hinted exit of the QEseriously affected the international financial market, the continuing European sovereign debt crisis and some emerging market economies' difficulties in international balance of payments. He expressed the hope that parties would focus on growth and jobs----the theme of this year's Summit, build consensus, stay committed to the spirit of solidarity and cooperation in time of difficulties, enhance macroeconomic policy coordination and push forward the process of global economic recovery so as to realize strong, sustained and balanced growth of the world economy.
