The Chinese Embassy in the U.S. Participated in the “Winternational” Event

On December 9, the Chinese Embassy in the United States was invited to participate in the Winternational Event hosted by the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. More than 70 embassies and cultural and commercial institutions in the U.S. set up exhibitions on-site, presenting their respective cultures, business, and tourism resources, attracting 8,000 local visitors for interactions.



The Chinese Embassy’s booth, themed Jiangsu Moments”, showcased distinctive Jiangnan (literally meaning south of the lower Yangtze River) crafts such as purple clay pottery, embroidery, wrapped silk flowers, bamboo carving, and clay figurines, while offering traditional snacks like Walnut Cookies, sugar and Chinese Tea. This allowed visitors to immerse themselves in the elegance of Jiangnan culture, the flavors of Chinese cuisine, and the charm of Chinese folk traditions, fully experiencing the appeal of Chinese culture. Embassy staff also introduced China’s travel policies and extended welcome for international friends to visit China.



The booth attracted a continuous flow of visitors and was filled with laughter and excitement.Visitors expressed strong interest and genuine appreciation for Chinese culture, hoping to take an impromptu trip to China.
