On December 5, the Chinese Embassy was invited to participate in the "Winternational" Event hosted by the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. The event, highlighting culture and tourism in various countries, featured booths set up by over 60 embassies as well as cultural and commercial institutions, attracting over 6,000 local residents.
At the Chinese Embassy booth, visitors appreciated Chinese ceramics, glass, silk, clay sculptures, and Hanfu (traditional Chinese costumes), impressed by the beauty of Chinese culture. They participated in stamping and paper-cutting activities, having fun with Chinese folk culture. They also took a glimpse at the long-standing tea, culinary, and opera cultures of China. During the event, a tourism introduction called "Hello China" was launched, with brochures distributed on Chinese tourist destinations, electronic payment, and visa facilitation measures. They were warmly encouraged to experience the authentic Chinese culture and the charm of modern cities in China.
Inspired by the Chinese culture, visitors held up "I Love China" and "Panda Fan" hand signs and took photos with "Hello! China" posters.
