Chargé d'Affaires Xu Xueyuan had a discussion with the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations "Public Intellectuals Program" members

On March 10, 2023, Chargé d'Affaires Xu Xueyuan and diplomats from the embassy had a discussion with scholars from the "Public Intellectuals Program" organized by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. The two sides had in-depth discussions on a series of issues including the meaning of a community with a shared future for mankind, China-U.S. relations, bilateral economic and trade ties, China's domestic development and foreign relations.

Xu encouraged the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and the new generation of American "China Hands" represented by the "Public Intellectuals Program" scholars to make suggestions and contribute to enhancing exchanges, cooperation, mutual understanding and trust between the two countries.
