On September 9, Minister Xu Xueyuan held a video dialogue with the United States Heartland China Association Chairman Bob Holden and Strategic Advisor Ambassador Kenneth Quinn. Minister Xu briefed them on China's economic and social development and the latest measures to expand opening-up. She said, we hope the United States Heartland China Association can make better use of its platforms to promote mutual understanding and practical cooperation between China and the United States at the subnational and non-governmental levels. We welcome heartland states to seize opportunities and share the benefit from China's development. Chairman Holden and Ambassador Quinn said, the Heartland China Association is committed to actively promoting exchanges and cooperation between the heartland region and China and hopes that the two sides will conduct further dialogue and communication in areas such as climate change and agriculture. The Association is ready to serve as a bridge between the United States and China to enhance mutual understanding, seek cooperation and achieve win-win results.
