On June 2, 2023, Ambassador Xie Feng met with Under Secretary of the U.S. Treasury Jay Shambaugh. The two sides had a candid, in-depth and constructive exchange of views on issues of mutual interest. Ambassador Xie emphasized the importance for the two countries to strengthen dialogue, manage differences and remove obstacles. The two sides agreed to maintain communication on advancing mutually beneficial cooperation in bilateral and multilateral fields.
