    Xie Feng, the new Chinese Ambassador to the United States arrived to assume office on May 23. He told the Chinese and foreign media and people from various sectors present at the JFK airport that he is greatly honored to be appointed by President Xi Jinping as the 12th Chinese Ambassador to the United States. As a representative of the Chinese people, he has come here to safeguard the interests of China, and he takes this as his sacred responsibility. As an envoy of the Chinese people, he has come here to enhance China-U.S. exchanges and cooperation, and he takes this as his important mission.
